It’s not more, it’s less

You have been indoctrinated to believe that, if you have the right knowledge, you will reach the freedom and the power you have never had.

Maybe you have already found yourself in an infinite cycle, searching for the human mind’s secret, or the secrets of the Universe, of the billionaires and so on…

Maybe you are tired of so much information, or more likely, maybe you are addicted to so much information.

Due to this infinite search for knowledge, there is in our modern society a lack of mental purification, resulting in a confused individual who each day gets more insecure about his actions. This state of purification was called, by Aristotle, “catharsis”. In psychoanalysis, the term makes reference to the liberation of emotions and feelings of repression.

Think about your mind like a house you want to be transformed. One day you decide to buy new furniture, although you din’t t notice there’s an infestation in the house. In a few months, the new furniture that cost you so much money will start being devoured by pests and you will become frustrated and tired of trying to make your house a better place to live.

And so it is with all the things we try to transform but can’t, because we neglect what we need to take out first.

The real power of transformation doesn’t allow pollution when it comes into our lives. Otherwise in the struggle to reach a better place, you are beaten by your frustrations, neuroses and willnesses before you reap the benefits of your journey.

If you can be brave enough to ask yourself some honest questions, I suggest you to make a list and start to remove one thing at time:

What are the things you need to get rid of?

Your ex? Your emotional dependency ?

Your fear to say what you want ?

Your fear of being criticized ? Rejected ?

Or your pleasure in criticizing others ?

The alcohol, the sugar ?

The past ?
